Polar bear class
Karen Plaxton’s Grade 2/3 class at Walkerton Public school raised over $1,000 for the World Wildlife Fund, and in doing so, have adopted 25 polar bears. The class has been fundraising since February, and raised the money with a cookie sale and change drives. Meanwhile, Ruth Louck’s Grade 3/4 class at Brant Central Public School is helping to save whales.
